Luv Shah is the Founder and CEO of Polygel Organometallic (Brunei) Sdn. Bhd., known for blending deep technical expertise with a sharp entrepreneurial instinct. With over 22 years of global experience in the chemical industry, Luv has played a pivotal role in positioning Polygel as a trusted name across more than 50 international markets.
Driven by a clear vision for innovation and sustainability, he brings a strategic, future-focused mindset to every aspect of the business — from product development to market expansion. His ability to align scientific precision with commercial viability has been central to Polygel’s growth and global footprint.
Luv holds a commerce degree from Sydenham College and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He currently leads the company from Polygel Global’s headquarters in Singapore.
Ranjeev Bhatia
Ranjeev Bhatia, Co-CEO, Joint Managing Director
Ranjeev Bhatia is Co-CEO, Joint Managing Director, and Global Head of Sales at Polygel Organometallic (Brunei) Sdn. Bhd., bringing board-level leadership and a sharp strategic edge since joining in 2008. With over two decades in international finance, including leadership roles at KPMG in both London and New York, he spearheaded the Middle East and India private equity operations for Arcapita—a premier Shari’ah compliant investment firm headquartered in Bahrain.
Educated at St. Stephen’s College (Delhi), the London School of Economics, and Cambridge University, Ranjeev combines rigorous academic training in economics with hands-on financial navigation and transaction experience. His entrepreneurial drive and financial acumen have been instrumental in scaling Polygel’s global commercial footprint, aligning sales, product innovation, and strategic growth across diverse markets.
Based in the USA, Ranjeev leads with a vision for sustainable expansion, leveraging a deep analytical foundation and global leadership experience to shape both financial strategy and market engagement.
Anil Phatangare
Anil Phatangare, CEO of Polygel Industries Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL)
Anil Phatangare is the CEO of Polygel Industries Pvt. Ltd., with over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry. A part of the Polygel Group since 1999, he has led key functions including technology development, manufacturing, sales, sourcing, and operations. He also served as COO and Acting CEO of Nerofix India (2021–2023), where he oversaw the successful transition of Polygel’s adhesives and construction chemicals business to Kansai Nerolac.
Renowned for his hands-on leadership and cross-functional expertise, Mr. Phatangare has been instrumental in building Polygel’s global presence across industries such as printing inks, packaging, coatings, and adhesives.
In addition to his operational role, Anil heads Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) for the Polygel Group, championing industry-leading standards and sustainable practices that safeguard employees, communities, and the environment.
Based in Mumbai, Anil continues to lead Polygel Industries Pvt. Ltd. with a vision rooted in sustainability, product excellence, and customer-centric growth—ensuring Polygel remains a trusted partner across industries and geographies.

His contributions to Singapore’s business landscape earned him the rare distinction of Honorary Citizenship, the country’s highest recognition for foreign leaders.
At Polygel, Mr. Bhatia plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction and long-term value creation, supporting the company’s industrial expansion across the ASEAN region.
Prashant Patil
Prashant Patil, Project Head
Prashant Patil joins Polygel Intermediates (Brunei) as Project Head, bringing over 18 years of international engineering and project leadership to drive its pivotal initiatives.
With deep expertise in mechanical design and multidisciplinary coordination, he has honed his skills across complex energy, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects spanning the Middle East and Asia.
Previously overseeing teams at AES Arabia in Saudi Arabia, Prashant managed large-scale mechanical and piping design projects, from engineering documentation to vendor engagements and technical optimizations—working across global sites and collaborating with project stakeholders at every level.
Now based in Singapore and leading Polygel’s high-impact developments in Brunei, Prashant applies a strategic balance of engineering precision and execution-focused delivery. He is focused on ensuring operational excellence, timely execution, and sustainable process outcomes as Polygel expands its chemical intermediates capabilities in the ASEAN region.
Dr Anurag Agrawal
Dr. Anurag Agarwal, Head – Technology Transfer & Technical Services
Dr. Anurag Agarwal serves as the Head – Technology Transfer & Technical Services at Polygel Intermediates (Brunei), where he leads the development and scale-up of advanced specialty chemical processes, polymer additives, and organic intermediates. With over 19 years of experience spanning research and development, product development, and techno-commercial operations, Dr. Agarwal brings a rare blend of scientific depth and industrial agility to Polygel’s innovation engine.
His expertise covers a wide spectrum of chemical domains, including polymer additives chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) bulk drugs, and custom research and contract manufacturing (CRAMS). Over the course of his career, Dr. Agarwal has held pivotal technical roles at leading Indian organizations such as Artek Group, HPL Additives, Arch Pharmalabs, Jubilant Life Sciences, and Morepen Labs, where he built a strong foundation in research- driven product development and technical project execution.
A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Dayalbagh University, Agra, Dr. Agarwal now operates from Polygel’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Brunei, where he plays a key role in technology transfer, quality assurance, and client-centric customization—ensuring seamless movement from lab-scale innovation to industrial production.
